Lahore School of Economics (Research Centre) is organizing a seminar on policy issues in the aftermath of earthquake 2005 on Oct 29, 2005 at the City campus. Following areas will be covered:

Lahore School Relief Fund — Update

October 18, 2005
Lahore School of Economics faculty member and students have retuned after visiting earthquake hit areas in Azad Kashmir.

On Friday, Dr. Salman Ahmad, Dr, Munir Ghazanfar along with five students from BBA II (Atique Nauman, Hammad Hassan, Asad Hameed, Jibran Waqar and Ammar bin Sarshar) left Lahore School with relief goods. They visited Rawlakot and Bagh, distributed the relief goods and met those who have suffered during the tragedy. Lahore School team arrived back on Sunday afternoon.

Earlier, Lahore School faculty and staff has contributed one day salary along with cash donations from every one including students to the national relief efforts.
